Victoria
Falls (taken from the Zimbabwean side)
The Vic Falls experience is one that we had a few times while living
in Zambia.
It was an 8 hour drive down the pot-holed road to Livingstone and
then across the
border to the Zimbabwean town of Victoria Falls itself. Once there
we enjoyed
the many shops and restaurants on offer, especially the 'old world'
charm of the
Victoria Falls Hotel. This particular photo with the Falls and the
rainbow is a
typical view from one of the many positions along the path. Incidently,
this
picture won 'picture of the month' at the photographic store in
Bulawayo,
a town south of Vic Falls!
