I was awarded my Diploma in Education after a one-year study course doing, double music classroom method, at the University of Melbourne in 1983. For some reason the certificate was not issued to me as I graduated in absentia. Only recently have I applied for the certificate which now has a September 2000 date on it. This was one of the hardest years of my life as the reality of the hard work it takes to be a teacher was made very clear!
