Abstract
Handheld computing provides affordable, any where any time technology for problem solving, interaction, collaboration and productivity. This session focuses on how to implement a handheld program and realise the full potential of one-on-one computing for teaching and learning.
Julie Lindsay is Head of Technology at ISD and coordinates the HIFE in the middle years program. This presentation explores real curriculum integration strategies using Palm OS computing including lesson ideas using a range of educational software and discover management and implementation ideas that will get your school started with handheld technology.
