Introduction to Telecollaborative Projects"
This is a presentation given in November 2001 to staff at Gulf English
School and then again in February 2002 at the American International
School Kuwait at a cross-school PD day. It includes an information
handout sheet and a PowerPoint slide show.
The subject
material includes what a telecollaborative project is, types of
projects and outlines opportunities for telecollaboration. It also
discusses the "Friendship Through Education" web site,
launched by President Bush in October 2001, as a portal for opportunity
to expand links between American schools and those in Islamic countries.
