The calender
year of 2004 is at an end and I find that there are many parts to
my digital portfolio that have not been updated. In an attempt to
satisy this demand and given current time restraints I am putting
the new information on this page!

Where am
I living and working?
After
accepting new teaching contracts for the International
School Dhaka (ISD) my family and I have been in Bangladesh since
August 2003.
ISD
is a purpose built school catering mainly for Bangladeshi nationals.
It delivers the International Baccalaureate
curriculum. Currently the highest academic level is Grade 10. This
year the school has been granted MYP (Middle Years Programme) authorisation
and NEASC and CIS (Council of International Schools) accreditation.
My position
at ISD is Head of Technology and my responsibilities include curriculum
development PreK-12, overseeing infrastructure and developing professional
development for teachers to integrate technology into the curriculum.

Technology Leadership: Three more subjects completed 'Developing
WWW Materials for Education I', 'Developing WWW Materials for
Education II' and 'Instuctional Design'. Only one subject to go
and I will graduate May 2005!

Technology
Initiatives For Education (TIFE) incorporating Laptop Initiative
For Education (LIFE) and Handheld Initiative For Education (HIFE).
As part of my work in the educational technology area at ISD
I have instigated the development of TIFE which includes a laptop
program at Grades 9 and above as well as a compulsory handheld
(Palm) program at Grades 6 and 7.
